Ingredients

1 teaspoon of dried basil

1 teaspoon of dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon of mustard powder

1/4 teaspoon of ground sage

1/4 teaspoon of pepper

1 1/4 pound bone in chicken breast

Salt and pepper to taste

2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of butter

1 yellow onion 🧅

1 cup of diced carrots 🥕

3ribs of celery

4 cloves of garlic

6 cups of chicken broth

1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon of Mamas Peri Peri hot sauce

10 ounces of refrigerated tortellini

Instructions

Season each side of the chicken breast with Italian seasoning.

Brown the chicken in olive oil for about 5 to 6 minutes each side until a little bit of brown color. Set aside.. shred with two forks.

Combine all the seasonings

Melt butter in the same pot used for chicken, add onions, carrots, and celery cook for about five minutes then add garlic, Worcestershire sauce,mamas, and the seasonings. Cook around 1 more minute add chicken broth and the shredded chicken. Bring to a boil and then Simmer partially covered for 15 minutes. Add the tortellini for about three minutes.
